The venue was lively and the decor had a classy modern vibe. Patrons ranged from couples and families to company employees.It’s often that hotel restaurants serve subpar food but glad it wasn’t the case at Atelier. Overall, the dishes were prepared well and tasty. The pan seared snapper was well balanced and seared almost perfectly. The steak was also cooked to expectation, and I surprisingly enjoyed the charred pea emulsion starter dish. The bread was chewy with crispy crust. The butter squash gratin didn’t really work texture wise, it was too mushy. And the duck fat cooked potatoes was a little too gamy - using less duck fat or maybe a blend of lipids could help balance it out.The table service was good too, but wish the dishes came out a little quicker. Overall, definitely a nice place to visit for a special occasion.

I particularly enjoyed the beef tartare, seasoned just right with a wonderful balance of flavours. The trout sashimi would be the most memorable, as it’s not often on the menu. However, it’s the service that compelled me to write this review. The moment I walked into the restaurant, I was warmly welcomed and taken to my seat by Katie and served by Daniel. He gave excellent, genuine advice about the food portions, as well as offer his expertise on the best wine pairing for my steak based on my preferences. All the staff members were genuinely friendly and energetic to all guests, which elevated the dining experience and atmosphere. Far too often I’ve received formulaic “customer service” in Sydney this visit, but Atelier has shown true hospitality. I hope management sees this and gives them the appreciation they deserve.

I booked the 8 o’clock session purely because of the drone show but then got told that the champagne bar is actually the closest to Darling Harbour. We ended up dining in the actual restaurant because we wanna try out the food. The waiter who initially took us was super patient and showed high-level of hospitality and professionalism. I feel sorry I didn’t get his name but he arranged everything and even reserved a window seats at Champagne bar for us laterThen it comes to the food. We didn’t expect the food to be that good but the food are mostly Beto our expectations, especially the oyster with sauce. I am not an oyster girlie, but we ended up ordering more oysters after the first one. The dark is also a must try the combination of the source and the meat is very nice. The beef tartar is also very nice.The waitress Etta is such a sweet heart, high quality of service throughout the wine tasting and serving. I was trying to tip her but tapped too quickly🥺 wait till next time!Overall I recommend this restaurant for couples who wants to have a date and for travellers who wants to enjoy the view while have nice dinner. The location of the restaurant, the food, the service are all perfectly on point.

Perfectly cooked to our preference, the steak was rich, juicy, and incredibly tender, with deep, intense flavors that showcased the exceptional quality of the meat. Every bite was a delight, and it paired wonderfully with the restaurant’s selection of fine wines.Beyond the steak, the menu offers a fantastic selection of dishes, all thoughtfully prepared and beautifully presented. June 24 · Tram HuynhA Disappointing Dining Experience: recently visited this restaurant and unfortunately cannot recommend it based on several significant issues encountered during my meal. The fish was notably lacking in freshness, which is fundamental for any seafood dish. Additionally, the soup was excessively salty, overpowering any other flavors and making it difficult to enjoy. The fish skin, which should have been crispy and golden, was disappointingly soft and lacked the textural contrast that makes the dish appealing. The dining environment felt haphazard and poorly considered. Tables and chairs were mismatched in both color and material, creating a disjointed appearance reminiscent of a local RSL club rather than a proper restaurant. This lack of attention to detail in the dining space suggests a general disregard for creating a cohesive and pleasant atmosphere for guests. Given the combination of subpar food quality and the uninspiring dining environment, I would not recommend this establishment to anyone seeking a quality dining experience. There are better options available that offer both fresh ingredients and a more thoughtfully designed atmosphere.
