Betty's Burgers Introduce
Betty's Burgers & Concrete Co. brings the timeless allure of the classic American burger joint to the stunning Darling Harbour precinct in the heart of the Sydney CBD. Situated conveniently within the International Convention Centre Sydney (ICC Sydney), this hamburger restaurant offers a nostalgic yet contemporary dining experience to locals, convention-goers, and tourists across New South Wales. The brand is built on a foundation of simplicity, quality, and freshness, adhering to a philosophy that a great burger doesn't need unnecessary complexity.
The signature menu is inspired by the simple, classic burgers of the 1950s, using high-quality ingredients to deliver a surprisingly rich and satisfying meal. While one customer noted the burgers "felt like a solid half kilo," showcasing a heavier, more substantial meal, another mentioned they were "kind of small" compared to international portions. This difference often highlights Betty’s focus on quality, rich ingredients (like their signature sauces and fresh, high-quality beef patties) over sheer, bulky size.
Beyond the delectable burgers—which include options like the Classic, Deluxe, and the famous Noosa Classic Surf—Betty's is equally renowned for its desserts. Their Concrete desserts, which are thick, customised frozen custard creations, are a highlight and provide the "Concrete Co." part of the name. They also offer a tempting array of Thick Shakes in classic flavours like Chocolate, Vanilla, and Peanut Butter, perfect for pairing with a savoury burger.
Betty’s Burgers is popular for lunch and dinner and is welcoming to a diverse crowd, including families, groups, college students, and tourists. The atmosphere is casual yet trendy, making it an excellent spot for solo dining or gathering with friends. The restaurant is committed to accessibility, ensuring a comfortable experience for everyone in the NSW community. Whether you are craving a solid beef patty, a crispy chicken burger, or a substantial plant-based option like the Classic Plant or Shroom burger, Betty's provides a consistently high-quality, fresh-tasting American-style feed.
Betty's Burgers is located within the prestigious International Convention Centre Sydney (ICC Sydney E04, 14 Darling Dr, Sydney NSW 2000, Australia). ★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Probably the heaviest burger I’ve ever eaten felt like a solid half kilo felt like twice the weight of most other hamburgers. We came here on the two up Tuesday got the $17.90 double beef bacon burger + second one for $2 so total $19.90 for two felt like pretty good value for sitting outside in a tourist Boulevarde. Burger took about 20 minutes to arrive. I guess they’ll say it’s not fast food. It did taste good. You can sit inside if you like. I didn’t get a $10 beer but another time that might be fine.
September 09 · ultimobileGood place to go when your craving a really good burger while visiting Australia. Pricey, but so is everything in Sydney. Burgers were delicious, but kind of small....I guess I'm also used to the larger USA portions. Fries would have been great had they been seasoned, and chicken strips were nothing special. Enjoyed the outdoor seating, no problem with the birds even though appeared they are used to being fed.
June 25 · Tony RayDefinitely hits the spot when you’re craving burgers and fries. A group of 4 of us tried the Classic, the Deluxe, the Double and the chicken burger. Also ordered fries, onion rings and drinks (doesn’t come as a set). Not the cheapest but it’s what you would expect for gourmet burgers. Nice ambience and close to Darling Harbour - we grabbed dinner here then went to the Harbour for the Saturday night fireworks!
August 31 · LynetteAmazing burger! So fresh and came quickly, lovely servers behind the counter and very good at keeping the area clean- enjoyed our burgers immensely and loved people watching as the seating area
