The atmosphere at Cicchetti is distinctively romantic and trendy, offering a peaceful retreat from the hustle and bustle of the Sydney Central Business District (CBD).

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1The Bolognese and salmon Caesar salad were absolutely amazing, full of flavor and beautifully presented.Service was okay, but it was clear the one staff member was completely run off her feet. She was doing her best, but it’s a bit sad to see someone handling everything alone. Management should consider adding more staff to support smoother service.Great food, just needs better staffing to match the quality.
August 26 · Julienne☕ 🥧Cicchetti Wine Bar and Coffee is a true standout! The perfect blend of casual elegance, it’s a go-to spot whether you're after a smooth morning coffee or a relaxing evening glass of wine. The coffee is rich and full-bodied, clearly made with skill and care. In the evening, the vibe transforms — cozy, intimate, and full of charm. The cakes selection is fantastic, and delicious, with thoughtful flavors and beautiful presentation. The staff are welcoming and knowledgeable, making every visit feel special. A hidden gem worth returning to again and again!
April 22 · Ali NazerThe service, food and atmosphere were absolutely amazing! I would definitely recommend this place for high tea. Even worth travelling to from further away.
September 27 · Tobias KleinLocated at 2nd/455 George Street, Sydney, New South Wales, Australia 🇦🇺 (In Queen Victoria Building).Edit - I returned because I wanted to see if there was any improvement )even though I said I would not return) and I have to say it was a lot better. I had the Prawns Spaghettini. It was delicious 😋. There was a slight but not overwhelming improvement in the service also. The server more attentive but still not overly friendly. I was happier with this visit due to the improved food but still don’t think I will return due to the service. 🤷♀️ It’s a real shame to have such a lack of good service in a beautiful restaurant in one of the most beautiful buildings in Sydney. Such a wasted opportunity.Original - I came here excited to try the scones, jam and cream and I am sad to say I left a little disappointed. I found the scones to be quite dry and crumbly. They didn’t taste very fresh and for the price and location, I would expect them to be fresh. The staff were not rude or anything but I have to say they were very welcoming or friendly. The waitress I mainly dealt with had very limited English so I found it hard to talk to her and she ended up getting another waitress (I think the manager) to take my order. I ordered scones, jam and cream and I had to ask for extra cream because I was given a tiny little jar which again is disappointing considering the price ($20). I also ordered a milkshake which I think they forgot because I didn’t get it until I nearly finished the scones. The milkshake was delicious 😋 though. I don’t think I will be returning here or recommending this place. Sorry but a Thumbs down from me! 👎👎👎
February 11 · Nerine CumminsThe best scones and tea in the QVB. This hidden gem is on the top floor, but worth the climb. We watched the chef freshly prepare the scones early in the morning and went back for our morning tea. Even the blueberry jam is home made. 😋👌 Love this place.
