This commitment to 'farm-to-table' or, more accurately, 'rooftop-to-table' sourcing adds a distinctive, local flavour profile that patrons won’t find elsewhere, enhancing the restaurant's identity within the Sydney dining scene. ★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1An absolutely beautiful dining experience at Ten Stories, Swissôtel Sydney today; all thanks to the exceptional service from Saskia and David, who made the evening truly special. We started with a glass of silky Pinot Noir, perfectly paired with the burrata and zucchini flowers, light, fresh, and bursting with flavour. The pink snapper for the main course was cooked to perfection, tender, delicate, and artfully presented. And to finish, the Bee Hive dessert was nothing short of spectacular… a sweet, creative finale that left a lasting impression. The ambience, attention to detail, and genuine warmth from Saskia and David elevated the experience beyond expectations. A perfect balance of elegance and comfort, highly recommended for anyone seeking fine dining done right.
October 24 · Rajiv ChaudhriDined here for a Mother's day shared lunch special. Apparently there were trialling this to see if it will be a good turn-around. For us yes it was. Great view, great food-course and friendly staff. We walked out with a 'food-coma' well satisfied and happy.
June 08 · Erwin TampubolonAnother excellent dining experience here. Tiana and Ian really looked after us and we had such a great time dining here. The beef cheek and the lamb backstrap was excellent and the dessert, their signature beehive is always a favourite. Please eat here if you are in Sydney.
August 24 · Mark CBeautiful restaurant BUT food badThe decor and position of restaurant with views out to the city is stunning. Our table setting very nice.We went here on a pre theatre dinner. We booked for four and we were shown to a table for two. Not a good start. We got menus but no drinks menu until we called for one.The service was the worse I’ve come across for a long time. Each time we wanted something we were trying to flag someone down. The couple next to us seemed to be getting reasonable service but despite the tables being very close the staff member never looked our way.It took ages to get food out and despite allowing 1.5 hours prior to our play, we just made it to the Theatre Royal in time. This is not an express pre theatre menu!!The food looked good on the plate, this is a lesson in ‘ don’t judge a book by its cover’The entrees burrata and tomatoes ok but the mussels aweful don’t order this. The barramundi good but the steak bad. The deserts were not good - forget desert. One of our mains didn’t come until we chased it, the frustrating thing is the waitress didn’t even notice. We ordered sides of carrots and potatoes, the carrots ok but the potato’s inedible, they were rock hard. There is an area to coffee maybe that’s worth trying.Bathrooms excellent.I’m not recommending this for a date even though the outlook is lovely if you get a table by the window. Can’t risk bad food on a date.If you stick to the barramundi pre theatre that could work. With the competition in the city this restaurant has to do better!!!Love your local guide-M❤️Please like or follow me.
May 11 · Inspired4me2YouAbsolutely extraordinary! This dining experience was far beyond what you’d expect from the overpriced, ordinary hotel restaurants out there. The flavors were simply exquisite—each dish was a masterpiece crafted with precision and care. The staff provided exceptional service, going above and beyond to make us feel welcome and valued. And the price? Unbelievably reasonable for the quality and experience we received. I cannot recommend this place highly enough—it’s a true hidden gem that deserves every bit of praise!-I'm not staff lol 😆-
