June 23 · Anton BardinCame here towards the end of the day, but still during business hours. The staff were very slow to even acknowledge the waiting customers. Eventually I placed my order of a macaron, a long black and a chai latte. We weren't asked for what size cups or anything. The man forgot to give me my change until I asked for it, so he had to reopen the till to get it. All the ordered things were served in takeaway cups and a paper bag, which was fair enough for near closing, despite the fact that they didn't even tell us this would be the case. I took a bite of the macaron and it was hard and chewy. I couldn't finish it because it was that bad. Many years ago I used to get boxes of their macarons as they were some of the best I had tried, so this was a disappointing surprise. My mum's long black was so hot, we couldn't hold the cup even though it was double cups, and when we finally managed to open it, it was watery. The chai was the only nice thing. My mum took her coffee back to the counter where a young girl with attitude asked her what was wrong. The girl tried to explain this is what a long black is, as if my mum hasn't been drinking long blacks longer than this girl had been alive. I couldn't believe the rude manner in which the girl was speaking and arguing with the customer. She kept trying to dismiss my mum and move on to other customers (funny how she was in such a hurry to serve others despite how long we were initially made to wait). When my mum asked if they would remake the coffee, she was told a firm no. My mum left the full coffee ont he counter and we left. I saw the girl laughing with her colleagues as if she thought she was so clever for dealing with a customer this way. I suggest the owners retrain their staff and try to teach them some people skills and coffee making skills, as well as reevaluate their product quality control processes. If there was a problem with us ordering at the time we did, it would've been better for them to turn us away. One star and even that is too generous.
October 26 · Tina BrownWestfield cbd.The sweets are delicious, especially the orange and lemon almond biscuits. The coffee is excellent when made by an elderly gentleman who is there. Twice a young, dark-haired man happened to make me coffee. The first time it was lukewarm, the second time I ordered a long black like I always order and they had a leftover small one and they gave it to me looking at me, afraid I would understand. Besides the fact that I paid for a long one and got a small one, it was almost frozen. Honestly, I didn't mind paying more, It was about the mockery. Many times, I wanted to talk to this very polite elderly gentleman, but I didn't dare.
October 26 · Scarlett 72The sweets and the store look beautiful. Great service, but the food is very, very bad. This is the second time we've eaten at the mall, and we always want something sweet with our coffee. I ordered a ricotta cannoli; it was tasteless, lumpy, and terrible. My wife ordered the pistachio tiramisu. It tasted old, had a sticky, candy-like texture, nothing like tiramisu.Horrible experience and expensive.Never again
October 03 · Tiago Inacio RiediNice biscuit. This place is like the only choice for some desserts in the mall. Pairs well with their coffee. Gives you come energy back for shopping.
